Health Plan Immunization Reminders? (UPMC)

I am wondering if my health plan sent us this because we don't have our daughter fully vaccinated or if they sent everybody this. Shortly after we received the EOB from Eva's 18 month checkup, we received a card from UPMC, our health insurance plan, that was reminding us to fully vaccinate, etc. etc. I am wondering if they do this to all members or just those they find out are behind schedule/not vaccinating, etc.

Has anyone else received something like this? If you have, do you fully vaccinate/ selective vaccinate/ skip vaccinations? Is anybody concerned about their big brother insurance watching them? I wonder if they could ever use this information against me. I sure hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me anymore...

You may have had an encounter with the registry, or it might just be something your insurance company does. States now have a vaccine registry - it varies from state to state. Some states put your child in at birth without your knowledge (unless you homebirth I guess) and whenever you get a vax they enter it in the database. Some states allow you to opt out, some do not.
