Milk Storage

If milk is kept it a deep freezer, than switched to a freezer, attached to a fridge (separate door), how long will it last?

I don't know - but what I do, since I don't have a deep freezer, is put my milk into an insulated bag that zips, to sort of simulate the deep freezer environment. My thinking is that the primary difference between the attached freezer and a deep freezer is that food in the deep freezer is having the door opened less frequently, and thus the temperature stays regulated. I'm figuring that if I have my milk separately insulated, if the freezer door is being opened a bunch, my milk is not affected like it might be if it was just open in the freezer.
