Hello from Costa Rica!

I just wanted to give an official "hello!" I've been lurking for awhile now and have enjoyed the lively and informative discussions here at MDC.

I've looked around, but there are so many sub-forums (and sub-sub-forums!) that I thought I'd ask: is there any particular area meant for not-yet-moms? My partner and I are in the beginning stages of our journey -- researching (somewhat obsessively!) everything about being parents -- but are not quite ready to TTC. Of course, we have the normal fears and concerns (are we ready? will we be good parents? etc. etc.) and it would be wonderful to find a place of like-minded future parents.

I don't know the answer to your question to be honest. I stick to just a few forums myself. I'd say there has to be a "thinking of conceiving" board somewhere... maybe try using the search feature?

Bienvenidos! I studied abroad in Costa Rica in college (lived in Curridabat and Guanacaste National Park) and returned to Tortuguero after I gradauated for a few months. It is a beautiful country.

Yes, there are a lot of forums here! Are you aware that you can subscribe to certain forums? It makes it easier to navigate.

Hehe, actually, I had found the second, but not the first. The first I had seen a loooooong time ago, but couldn't find it again. Thank you so much! And I figured out how to subscribe to forums/threads today, which is fantastic. I'm so glad to be here!
