I am curious as to how far you have gone to get the "nest" straightened out. And at what price. Yesterday I think I went a little crazy. I have this obsession with farm fresh eggs from the farmers market. The last two weeks we were "late" (not really the market opens at nine)we got there just before ten and the eggs were sold out. Of course I got all emotional yada yada yada. Well this Saturday I told dh I wanted to be up and ready to go by 8:30. I wake up it is 9am and it is monsooning out. Mind you I had not showered in three days YUCK. In my craziness I throw on some clothes dress ds and fly out the door. Mind you I have been up maybe,15 minutes. We get into the car and I am drenched. We get to the market and they have 5 dozen eggs left. YAY!! So I buy three dozen! Mind you I am one of only 20 people there, most of the vendors did not show . Of course ds is now crying because his favorite vendor (an artisan bread co) is not there. I was so happy to have my eggs but poor ds was melting.
We get back in the car and we are soaked!!!... I suggest we go to Whole foods to get muffins. Once we are in the store I realize I am supposed to be at a chiro appointment OOPS. I grab the muffins and shove a banana in ds's mouth and off we go. We get there and she is running late..I am late,unshowered and still have yet to eat...
So finally we get back home, I inhale some food, I get a shower, YAY and ds finally starts to eat his muffin when Dh calls and says my nieces party which I thought was at 3 ended at three and started at 1pm. Ah yes it was 1pm. SO we fly out the door again. I grabbed the gift and of course forgot the card.
So we finally get home around five and realized wow this whole day was a blur and Dh points out that it started with the EGG!! No punn intended!!!
