This is my first baby, and she is 9.5 weeks old. After lots of research, I decided to get a Moby Wrap. I love it
:
: It is an absolute life saver and I couldn't live with out it. It's my #1 thing for must haves.
Anyways... Anywhere I go, I have at least 3 people approach me and ask about the carrier. I usually have my DD in the newborn hug, but sometimes I have her front facing so she can kick her feet and smile at passing people. When I go to the baby super store, pregnant women and women with children all ask me where I got it and if they can buy it at the store. At the mall, women stop and stare at us, then approach us to ask what it is. I've had dads approach me and ask where they can get one. My SIL just had her baby, and I had DD in the Moby Wrap while I waited in the waiting room. A lactation consultant approached me and said she wished every momma carrier her baby like that. A nurse said to me, "I had something like that 40 years ago with my babies. I love it."
I'm amazed at how many people do not know what these wraps are and what life savers they are. At every opportunity I try to tell people about them and DD is the best little model for them ever. She's either smiling at people or snoozing quietly.
I've had nothing but positive reactions from people regarding my wrap. I just wanted to share that with you guys since I know we all get frustrated that it's not more expected and used.
