I won't say anymore in case someone wants to be surprised.

Someone should have been escorted off stage and thrown out of the building for being so disrespectful and ruining another artists special night. :

I am not Kanye fan. I think he's all hype and ego with very little tallent. Last night kind of confirmed that. His "apology" was lame. "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings but welcome to the real world" is not an apology.

I love Beyonce. She may not be the best singer in the world, but she's an entertainer and she seems to work very hard to be the best entertainer she can be. I don't know what she's like in her personal life (because she manages to stay pretty private, good for her), but she's always very charming in interviews. Last night confirmed my opinion of her, too.

Poor Taylor Swift. She just looked so defeated.

Gaga. Wow. At least there's something going on with the VMAs again. Can't say I'm a fan, she's just too DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA for me, but it beats people wandering around on stage and name checking each other, which is old and boring.

Yes, yes and yes.

I don't follow celebrities personal lives, but I do like Kanye's music. Can't say I will buy or download any of it now though. Took my oldest kid to Taylor Swift's concert this year (her first headlining) and she is incredibly gracious. At one point, the audience gave her a standing ovation and wouldn't stop. She had to wait to sing her song. She just stood there with her hand over her mouth (you know how you do when you're just overcome) and cried and kept saying thank you.

Because this was a television program, you may discuss it.

However, please keep in mind that we will not host namecalling, no matter how deserved, or suggestions of violence, even if you are being facetious. We'll also not be delving into speculation or gossip-- please stick to what happened on the show. Thanks!

Last night's show was VERY interesting to say the least. One of the weirdest things to me was the last performance by Jay Z and Alicia Keys- I thought they did great- but at the end the rapper Lil Mama hopped on stage, just like Kanye did, and started dancing along and trying to be "in" with them, too. It was bizarre! I think the VMAs are fun to watch, and if they have this level of excitement every year they'd get better ratings, lol.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Lady Gaga! I'm a huge fan and she can't really go wrong in my book. I thought it was so cool that Pink sang while doing trapeze! That's some talent! All in all I thought it was a pretty good show. Of course, I dvr'd it and fast forwarded all the comercials and the perfomances I didn't care to see. I love Taylor Swift and I thought she handled it well. Poor thing! And kudos to Beyonce for making it up to her!!
