I just got the Grocery Gadget app, which I'm going to try to use for price lists as well as shopping in general. Anybody else have any recommendations for favorite apps?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I have several recipe apps that I like. I use the notepad function a lot. I jot down things I need to do around the house or otherwise, and put my grocery list there for easy access at the store. I will have to check out Grocery Gadget.
I use my banks app very frequently. I check the balance, transfer money, and pay bills with it. Also, the mint.com app is nice.
Fertility Friend is another one I use a lot, but that's not really home management is it?

Well, primarily it keeps my grocery list all in one place, so I don't forget it home when I go to the store.
But it also has a "checkbox" so I can tick off items as I'm shopping, which is a step up from just using notepad. And I can sort items by category, so all the produce is together when I'm in the produce section, etc -- that's cool.
It has a desktop version you can use as well, if you want to power type your list in instead of doing it via the iPhone, I like that. And you can email lists to other people (from phone or desktop), that's helpful. It seems to sync pretty quickly, so if I'm on my way to the store and DH adds something to the list from the home computer it will show up right away on my list.
The thing I want to try to use it for is price lists, you can record the price of each item as you tick it off your list... I'm not entirely sure how I'll make that work, maybe have a different list for each store. I wish there was just a price list app out there but I haven't seen a good one yet.
There is a free lite version and the full featured version costs $3 or something like that. The main difference I saw was that the lite version only allowed 1 list.
So far it's pretty cool, but I'm open to hearing suggestions from others!!

My iphone has changed my life. I use home life budget to keep up with that aspect, I use shopshop for my grocery list, I use To do to keep up with things I need to get done. I use the calendar and set reminder alerts. I use Notes to jot down stuff I want to remember. I use Lose it to track my calories and exercise. I could go on and on. It's really some of the best money I've ever spent. I love my iphone!

I use,well--I used to use--but will begin again!! -- the Lose It app. It is a great way to keep track of exercise and calories in---it gives you a calorie "budget" for the day, which changes as you exercise or eat---and as I am not a gym/ workout type, I like that it has activities such as gardening etc, and you can input the exact time spent & it gives you the calories burned--and thus, calories earned!
I would love if there was an app for housework etc---a fly lady type app--because I find that when I have to report or enter info, I am more accountable & more aware of what I actually do with my time--and body.
