these were leftovers from my husbands work and it was perfect timing since i wanted to make a space for dd's art. how would i cover them with fabric and then make them one giant corkboard? i think it would be cool to use coordinating but not matching fabric for each piece...

I have a bunch of corks too, and I've seen a few great things you can make:
1) of course you can just make a quirky cork board
2) picture frame (line it)
3) mosaic/ cork board with the brand names facing out

If you think of anything else let me know! I'm still collecting/ not ready to make anything yet.

My sister has all of her corks in a big glass bowl in her bathroom. She mixed them in with seashells and her bathroom (which has a beach theme) is so cute!

If I understand what you mean? I would cover each indivdually with whatever fabric then you can mount them onto a piece of plywood the size you need(try freecycle or the cheap area of the hardware store)

or you could cover each indivdually and then mount them singly on the wall in a neat pattern...with a small space between each board

Poster- what you want to do sounds really neat. You can buy matching squares of fabric in bundles. That would be a really easy way to do it- just find a color your dd likes or one that matches her room. How fun!

You can glue buttons onto thumb tacks to make really fun tacks.

If you have any squares leftover you could do coasters:

I saw directions in a magazine to cut them into thin strips (maybe an inch or 1/2 inch wide. Dye half of them. Then weave them back into a square. Maybe glue another piece or a piece of felt on back to hold it all together?
