Slight regression

I have a 6 month old who's been ECing for about 3 months. She had been doing great and I hadn't really had to change a poopy diaper in a long time. But the past week and a half she will only pee on the BBLP. Sometimes she might poop, but I really think it's by accident. She seems to rather poop in her diaper when she is in her exersaucer. She just got her bottom teeth in, she just really started solid foods and she has a cold (poor kid!) Will these things affect how she does on the potty? Is there anything I can be doing so she doesn't regress completely? I have been putting her on the potty a lot more than usual in attempts to catch a poop.

Hi- Yes, those things affect how they use the potty. You just reminded me that my baby LOVED to poop in things like a swing or any kind of seat, for awile! You can continue talking with your baby about going potty and going in the potty, and just change her as soon as you can! She'll be back to pooping in the bblp in no time! Welcome to the EC forum!

DD is doing great

Just wanted to post that her regression is over. She has been doing great. I haven't had to change a poopy diaper in almost a week and I am catching most pees. She is signaling a lot. I just finally figured out what her signals are. I think she is so happy to be going potty on her BBLP. Every time she goes potty, she smiles at me while she is going. Almost like "look mom at what I can do!" To anyone wanting to do EC, just keep at it; it really works!
