Questions about baby penises - Page 2

Yea, it stretches. It is the only time I can actually see the opening of his penis (and nothing more). My MIL likes to tell us how when Dh was new, his "baby boners" used to pop the stitches on his circ and cause it to bleed. Now that is not right.......

I wonder if all the childhood stretching has a function? Like how restoration is accomplished with repeated gentle tugging. Maybe all that playful tugging helps them have even 'roomier' foreskins once their penis gets bigger?

you guys are too funny! I had to read a few to my DH, he's circed, so never had the urge to wrap his forskin around something! He laughed really hard!.

I do think it is part of the process.

The foreskin doesn't retract when they're erect as infants, but it also doesnt seem to bother them. It pretty much grows with the penis, although foreskins can vary greatly. As such, when they have an erection, it generally is enough skin to allow that erection comfortably. Sometimes theres even more than needed.

Also, I carried both of my sons on my hip and they never complained. I'm sure if you hurt them, they'd let you know! But especially when they're still in diapers, theres a lot of padding. I think I was a little more gentle putting him on my hip so as to not crush his stuff when he got out of diapers, but he wasnt being carried much at that point.

Little boys can be so rough on themselves. I caught my DS standing on a chair trying to streatch his forskin around the door handle of the oven. DH cringes all the time when he sees how rough our boys are on their parts. Carrying them on my hip is not a problem diaper or not.

If the baby is in a diaper, it won't hurt his testicles. Now that my son is in undies, he'll let me know. Today, while at the store, I had him in "death grip" on my hip (for trying to get into things while I was shopping) and he did scream, loudly, YOU'RE HURTING MY WEINER!!!!

It doesn't seem to hurt my 20mo son to hold/wear him. He's at the age now where I'm sure he'd let me know.

And erections are normal at all ages! My son's foreskin has never retracted during an erection either. Totally normal.
