what should i do now?

my 13 month old signs potty to me all the time. and she makes the pssss noise too. she does it while she's on the potty (but usually not going), she does it while she's peeing in her diaper, and she does it while i'm on the toilet or her friends are on the toilet - even when someone else is in the bathroom with the door closed. so, she clearly knows what it all means. i guess she just doesn't know how to hold it? does that sound right? i'm just wondering if there's anything i should be doing at this point and how much longer before she knows ahead of time. thanks all!

My daughter did the exact same thing at 13 months! I really wanted her out of diapers as much as possible, so I quit waiting for her to signal and started taking more initiative myself based on timing. I don't know if that's the most "EC" thing to do, but it's working for us--she's 18 months and stays dry pretty much all the time now. At 13 months I just took her potty once an hour or so.
