What to use for frizz?

I have slightly wavy, very frizzy hair. The waves are in all the wrong places But anyway...
What can I try to control the frizz?

I currently am no-poo'ing with some BS in conditioner (a natural kind- ny scalp is super sensitive to fragrance). It's been a week or 2, and still frizz.

I'm going to add acv next, but the last time I no-poo'ed I did use acv and my hair was still drizzy. Any other ideas for me?

I also do bs, but I mix it with honey and use that concoction on my hair. I also do an ACV rinse. I've been doing this for a year. When the air is dry - no frizz. When it's humid - I look scary. More frizz than hair, lol.

I'd love an answer to this conundrum too.

The only thing that has ever worked for me were chemical-laden, anti-frizz things you find in regular stores. I used those in high school religiously.

oooh, honey. I'll have to try that!
I live in BC- we have about 9 months a year of rain. It's a light misty rain, but it's still awful for my hair!

I have been researching curly hair care for myself and I recalled seeing this thread. I was on the live curly, live free site and saw that baking soda clarification processes ruffle the hair cuticle and cause frizz. They need to be followed immediately with ACV rinses (well diluted) to smooth the hair cuticle back down. (Baking soda is alkaline; ACV is acidic; hair is less acidic than ACV.) It goes on to say ACV rinses should only be done once a month or so. I'm guessing the baking soda clarification isn't meant to be done daily...... you might want to read more on that, though.......

i am also a slightly wavy gal, though not a no-poo-er. i shampoo (with a natural-type shampoo) and condition about 2-3 times a week. what has been working for me this summer has been to run a little bit of coconut oil (all warmed up in my hands) through my wet hair after showering. this is after using a microfiber-type towel to blot the excess water out of my hair. then i scrunch a bit and air dry. do you know this website?

i dont no poo anymore but i take a four ounce or so bottle, add distilled water, aloe vera, jojoba oil and a n ice essential oil (rosemary has traditionally been used for healthy hair) its about three ounces of water and3/4 ounce of aloe a few drops of jojoba and essential oils.

the naturally curly site is great but I read www.livecurlylivefree.com to be really informative with all of the proper info really well laid out.
I no poo with desert essence tea tree conditioner with aubrey organics honeysuckle rose conditioner left on while I clean myself and then I rinse my head upside down with COLD water (to seal the cuticle) and then I get out (upside down head, dripping wet lol) and put the aubrey organics b5 hair gel in and then I scrunch my hair dry with a tshirt. I do not ever touch my hair with a towel because its to ruff, it will cause the cuticle to raise and the hair to frizz. I no longer squeeze my hair in the shower or fuss with it until dry...even then barely touching.
Read the live curly site it will give you the best explaniation of how to no poo and explains how to get your hair "right".
