My DH and I have decided we are agnostic leaning toward athiesm in our own religious beliefs. However, many of our friends are quite religious. My DD has been making a lot of remarks about religious practices (she told our friend that Jesus died and God is not real--this family is VERY religious). I would like to teach her respect for others and their beliefs, I would also like to teach her about different world religions. Any ideas?? Any books or homeschool lessons I can use to do this on an age appropriate level? She's 8 now, currently doing 1st grade in homeschool (she attended Japanese school until now so she doesn't know how to read in English yet. . .we're working on it
).
