Maybe we have progress? Since late this evening, I've been contracting pretty regularly, I'm in pretty significant discomfort and didn't even bother going to bed, I just kind of parked on the living room couch. Tons of lower back pain and cramping through my thighs. Baby was low enough earlier today that many head measurements were taken through the pubic bone.
Well, we'll hope this continues and doesn't peter out. I'm really trying to have faith in my body!
Also, is weird nausea something other people have experienced in early labor? You'd think by baby #4 I'd have this down, but, no. I'm so used to the interventions that I'm questioning everything!
Anyway, ctx are painful, but nothing like what I've experienced with pitocin or cytotech, more like ocean waves and as long as I feel them rolling through I can stay ahead of them. (Every 3-4 mins, but not painful nough that I suspect we're anywhere near 'there'.) At any rate, if this isn't 'it' it's sure one heck of a warmup!
