How do you prepare runner beans?

This is only my second year having a garden, and my first year growing runner beans. I have never eaten them in my life. I only have one plant so it's not like there's a lot, but... what the heck do I do with them?

I usually blanch them until tender in boiling salt water. Then I toss them with butter & herbs. Pretty easy!

Yeah, we pick them small and use them like you would any other snap bean.
