I'm looking forward to "meeting" all of you, but I won't lie; I'm hoping to be out of this thread and on to the prego one very soon!

how exactly would spotlighting someone work (and is that a word? ) I don't really feel like seeing my info on top of the thread all the time, but I wouldn't mind answering all your questions in a spotlight way.

and thanks for the new thread Hesperia!

You can pop into a DDC and read a spotlight.
The run down is, we shine the spotlight on you, and ask you questions rewarding your life, and your journey TTC. Gives us a chance to get to know you better, and to feel special! You can decline to answer anything, it is just for fun (Think facovrite comfort foods, first crush, favorite animal, where you'd like to travel, etc)

Anyone else want to play?

Probably shouldn't be doing this on the start of a new thread....but....

Boy, do I SMELL! Yuck!

We've been baby dancing a lot lately, and I cannot stand the feeling of 'dripping' one little bit, even lying down. Drives me crazy. I've been using my diva cup to catch.

But, the smell! I'm only leaving it in for roughly 12 hours (during this time doing some pelvic tilts), and washing it well. I don't have an infection or anything. It is just the smell of semen and my fluids mixing, and the divacup which makes me gag anyways. Having sex last night, basically all I could think about was, geez, I hope my smell isn't turning him off!!

I told him I was pungent, he just giggled. I don't think he cared. But, I do know that my nose is no where near as sensitive as his. I wouldn't be surprised if he has had enough this cycle.

So there you have it ladies. I'm one smelly smelly vegan lady.

On the plus side, with this much baby dancing, I'm getting really excited about the chances of us creating a new life this cycle!

technically, as you pointed out, it is most likely the sperm you're smelling, thus his "fault"

Very true. Too bad it doesn't reside in his body during 'off peak' hours.

I've heard pregnant ladies smell more strongly, maybe this is just my warm up.

I also do shower on a daily basis.

Hesperia, I know what you mean about the smell. I don't use a cup, but when we are dtd every day I get a smell too. Usually don't notice it much when we are just bd'ing every other day or less though. I think it just builds up in there. And lets face it, boys are smelly. So it makes sense that their...ahem, fluids...would be smelly too, lol. Hang in there, you can take a break after you ovulate.

Oh, and thanks for the new thread!

Hi ladies! I was really hoping to get crosshairs today, but no such luck. What do you think? Did I O yet? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/27b3e8

On a happy note, DH woke up this morning and told me he dreamed all night of us having a baby girl. It was so sweet, I almost started crying.

becks, could be a fall back rise so you'll just have to stick it out, wait and see. sorry. but the plus opk is good news.

Hello everyone!!
Bumping us up.

Happy First day of Autumn!
Happy Monday! I'm having what might be O pain. I got my positive OPK last Friday, though, so I'm hoping that I already O'd. Plus the "pain" (it doesn't really hurt; it's just twinges) is happening on both sides.

I'm trying not to obsess over my chart, but that's hard to do!

Oh! OT: I went to Portland Veg Fest on Saturday and got lots of yummy samples. Plus DH and I ordered a fruit and veg box from a CSA and got 30% off! The turnout was really good. Lots of vegans here in the northwest.

No one else want to do the spotlight? I think it would be silly with only three of us

Hope everyone is well.

Weekend check in (late, yeah it is Tuesday!)

Cycle day 21 (of 31 day cycles) so, 11 or 12 days until we know.
Nothing new this cycle, no appointments or anything.

Yesterday I had a complete melt down of a day. I was so so upset, over everything, and cried half the evening. Not rationally upset and couldn't snap out of it. I felt like a teenager, everthing felt like the end.of.the.world. I hope that was a splash of pregnancy hormones and not just insanity.

My nipples are very tender and I've been feeling a little sick. I dry gagged this morning while just sitting at the computer. I normally get some nausea on the bus in the morning, but usually not before the bus...

Still no stressing, no testing, but this cycle I did record DTD times, and have been tuning in a bit more to my body.

Emotionally, I'm still really really sensitive and out of sorts. Better than yesterday, but wow.

Hope everyone is doing well.
