Freezing questions:)

How long can things be frozen for? I don't have a deep freezer just a regular one.

Okay here comes a dumb question but do you cook the foods before you freeze them? Or do you just assemble everything beforehand? Like lasagna for example? Sorry if this is an obvious question!

Lasagna just set it up and freeze it-depending on what type of noodles you use-like those no-boil or regular noodles. with regular noodles I like to half cook them so that they turn out nicely when cooked in the lasagna, if they are too cooked they tend to get mushy. My favorite way to make a lasgna to freeze is to use frozen raviolis, and assemble like a regular lasagna-turns out great.

I usually freeze things for a couple months max, but now I have a Foodsaver and it makes things last for a really long time-like months to years.

Oh man I wanted to know all about freezing just a couple days ago, so I did some research and found this great resource....

I hope that helps
