Help please! Dipes are repelling even though I stripped them

So today I thoroughly (or what I thought was pretty thorough, apparently I was wrong) stripped my dipes. They were all dirty so I did a cold cycle without detergent, then I did a hot wash with 1/4 of the recommended amount of country save. Then I did a hot wash with added boiling water, a teaspoon of Dawn and 2 cold rinses. Then I did a hot wast with 2 cold rinses no detergent. I just tried pouring water on 3 different kinds and they repelled! What should I do now?

The dipes I am washing are BG OS, Thirsties fitted, and Rump-a-rooz

repelling issues wasn't always a buildup issue for me some detergents just caused it even if they were totally rinsed actually the more rinsed in come cases the worse it was.
Dreft and Charlie soap irronically were the only detergents that didn't cause the repelling.

Make sure you stuff them with an insert to test--they'll still repel without one in some cases even though you have stripped them well.

What worked for me is running them through my dishwasher with the inners facing jets. Don't use detergent.

Best to test them with an insert on a baby. Urine is the best fluid to test them with as it acts differently than plain water. Next best is warm/hottish water in a bulb aspirator placed close to the fabric as that is closer to how the pee comes out
