pin preference?

Anyone have a favorite pin or a pin they just don't like?

I haven't been able to find reviews on pin anywhere. I do plan on going with prefolds and snappi but would like just one set of pins as back-up.

Ideally, I'd like to get one from GMD

I have the cheaper gerbers from Target, and I have some dritz (with plastic locking heads now, not metal). I find them to be comparable. I like the locking heads, but DH can't stand them so he prefers the gerbers. The sharpness is about the same.

One thing I have noticed is that my indian prefolds pin much more easily than my chinese.

I actually prefer the simpiler gerbers to the dritz but any pin made for CD work great IMHO. Any of the ones from GMD will work great.

I've bought cheap, and more pricey pins, and I prefer to spend a little more. We did not like the pins from Babys R Us, and love Dritz pins. We find them online with site with free shipping

I don't know brands but I prefer the ones with the metal head that slides up & down to lock it in place. I find the plastic heads where you have to push the pin arm way over to get it into the slot to be a real pain.

My hands down favorite are the Dritz metal head locking pins.

My favorite diaper pins are the Dritz ones they sell at Hancock fabrics. They have plastic locking heads, which I like better than either the cheaper plastic-headed ones or the metal ones.

I have the Dritz pins with the plastic locking heads, and they're good (although I've never tried others, so I can't compare).

You can get these at JoAnn's... (I discovered this after calling every store in Minneapolis that sells cloth diapers - none of them had pins!).
