Kinda OT but...
Another mama at my job who didn't bf w/her first is now pg w/her second. She came to me for support. She realized I'm still pumping at work and I think it frightened her. Now she "only wants to bf for 6 months,"

On the other hand, another mama at my job who did nurse her first told me she quit nursing after 1 year and stopped pumping at 9 mo. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "You are
such a good mother."
There are so many battles with pumping and nursing beyond infancy, and so many differing opinions on what is right or manageable. Anyone else have experiences they'd like to share?
I skipped pumping last Friday due to being really busy at work (I honestly didn't even think about it until after 4 pm, which is way too late if I'm going to nurse DD when we get home) and I realize in retrospect that I loved the freedom. I just have to keep reminding myself that we're almost done, and just to get through a few more weeks!
