Need help!!!

My son, who will be 14 months next week is having trouble adjusting to preschool. Becasue he has been nursed his entire life he has become dependant on it to sooth himself and fall asleep.

I do not want to wean as I would prefer to allow him to self wean but he is not napping at school and it is making it hard on his teachers and his well being.

He also wakes through the night to nurse. My lack of sleep and his is making it hard on both of us.

Please help!

I'm sorry to hear its so tough for him and I'm sure you feel bad for him too. He's still quite a baby and he probably just doesn''t know what to do without you. Does he have any comfort items - paci, a shirt of yours, stuffed animal, sippy cup or bottle with your expressed milk?
I'm sorry I don't have too much to offer. I know overly tired babies have trouble sleeping. Hopefully he'll learn to nap at preschool soon.
