help!!! tangle clunk...all out of diapers!!

-my machine -brother xl2600

i only have enough disposable diapers to make it through to the morning!

-top thread tangling under plate and clun clunk clunk jam stop!!!!

any ideas on how to solve my problem?

-i have cleaned bobbin holder and changed bobbins...

-i made 4 breast pads this am from a prefold and tried to zig zag the edges...my top thread was straight so i downloaded manual and then set tension to 1...got proper zig zag after that

broke and desperate for dipes!!!
please help me fix my machine....

change your needle, it might be bent

also, take the bobin casing out, and make sure everything on/under it is clean and then put it back in - I know on my machine if I dont put it in perfectly I have the 'clunk' problem.



if all else fails, old recieving blankets work great as flats - just fold it up and pin it on baby or stick it in a cover!

i haven't really used the machine in a year...

i threaded the bobbin part wrong for sure

i will try again today

as for flats...i used them at first with ds, but for some reason totally paniced yesturday and forgot they were even an option...lol

i hope that i didn't damage the machine by threading the bobbin in wrong....
will check as soon as i get off here...wanted to see if there were any other things i should check while i am at it!!

two thumbs up for flats....oragami fold and i shall become reaquainted in about 2 minutes

i took it to a local sewing shop....the woman was fabulous!

turns out it was not broken!
-using knits needle on prefolds
-wrong tension
-cheap thread!!!
all better now....can't wait to sew!
