I have an 18 month old son, who still breastfeeds, mostly at night, or when he's sick, or misses me (like when I get home from school we have a half hour sit down nurse and stare) Anyway, this semester I am taking Organic chemistry, and my lab instructor dude said that there might be a problem with someo f the chemicals that we will be working with and my breastfeeding. So, has anyone gone thru this before? does anyone know where I can look up chemicals and their effect on breastfed babies? I'm sorry if there is repeated questions in here, but I have a limited amount of time to do anything and was hoping for some semi-quick advice. I'm sure there are some scientist mommies out there who came across this issue.
