Enki Math reviews please!

My kids love stories and math games, so I'm thinking of purchasing enki math. I'd really like to hear some reviews before buying since it's so expensive, so please let me know what your experience has been. I'm not looking at buying the whole package, just the math. TIA!

ETA: I'd also be interested in other suggestions for alternatives- anything with stories, manipulatives and the like...not so much for worksheets.

Haven't used Enki math myself.

I have heard good things about Christopherus math, and I liked what I saw of the 1st grade math. Other fun stuff to consider: Noble Knights of Knowledge, Living Math, and Gnomes & Gnumbers.

Thanks for all these fun ideas! I'm having trouble with the Lesson 1 page on the Gnomes and Gnumbers. Is it just me? Maybe the problem will sort itself out.

Hmmm...it still works for me. Here's a direct link: Lesson One. Hope that works!

I just purchased a used Grade 1 package ... I know...
I was going to just buy the math, but I am glad that I did not.
I really like the math within the context of the package, but I am not sure if I would have liked it separate. I know that sounds weird, but you really need the guides to get the meat out of it.
It has Fairy Tales, 4 stories for the #qualities block, 2 stories and plays for the 4 processes, and one story for fact families.
There are games and a cd of blackline masters.
The thing is that the how tos of teaching it are in the instruction manual and the 1st grade guides.
I am not sure if this helps. I think that if I wasn't going to buy the package I would try something else. That being said I do love Enki!

I know that a while back i had found a website that had a list of math story books, but I can't remember-if I do I will post it or maybe someone else will know.

Thanks. Please let me know if you remember the source for the math numbers stories. That's really the part that I was interested in the most.

I think that I found it!
It is livingmath.net I am sorry I just got a new computer and haven't figured out how to link yet.
It looks really neat though, There are different levels with book lists for each. I think that I will go here when I am done with the Enki.
