Mildew Diapers

Ugh....did a load of diapers the other day and promptly forgot about them. They were left in the washer for who knows how long and they stink like mold! I tried rewashing them and the smell did NOT come out. Did I ruin them? How can I get the smell out? Sorry if this is a silly question but I am terrible with laundry.

What I Did

I had some diapers go moldy in the pail. I washed them in hot water with bleach and also hot water with borax. I actually think that the borax killed the mold and the bleach got rid of the stains. Tea tree oil is also supposed to be good for dealing with mold, though I've never tried it myself.

Yeah, I'd whip out the bleach. Then wash and rinse them a few times so all the bleach gets out. Good luck!
