well after 2 weeks of moaning and complaining, and soliciting every and anybody that would listen to help me get this baby out....exercise, curb walking, spicy food, membrane sweep, etc. my son decided to wait until 12:17 am on HIS DUE DATE to arrive.ctx started around 6 but were disorganized...I was anxious so called my mom to pick up dd and DD (dog and daughter), called MW who left her house as she was an hour away. Relaxed...ctx 4-6min and 40-60 sec--uncomfortable not terrible...still not convinced it is labor. when she arrives my VE- is 5cm with BBOW--so I walk in the driveway (1/4mi long) for 30 min--now ctx are 2 min apart and they make me sweat. Up stairs to the birthing ball, make the bed with the plastic sheet, have a sip--can't take it--to the tub 20 min later I want to push but I have an anterior lip--2 ctx later baby is crowning 2 pushes for the head one for the body and out he comes in the water, pink and dark complected---whewwwww short (maybe 4 hours from beginning to end--mw calling eniter labor 2hours) but intense. He is 8#7oz very peaceful, & amazing. He nursed well a couple of times passed some meconium already. and we slept for a bit

I cannot believe he is here and so happy he is.
after pains are a little sharp, but I did not tear, or turn my perineum inside out and had the labor I thought I would
(FYI--my prediction was 6 hr labor on 9/19 and baby weighing 8'8"--funny)
