Can you reach your cervix?

Or am I the only freak that can't?

I have to do some contortions just to wash thoroughly... and I'm curious what's going on, but don't want to even open the can of worms of asking my MW to check me - especially since I know it doesn't mean anything... But I'm kinda bummed I can't reach.

Anyone else?

I can reach mine, but if my fingers were any shorter, I wouldn't be able to. It's pretty far back, long, and closed at this point. Maybe once you start progressing, it will move forward to where you can reach it. Sending you some progress vibes, return some to me please. LOL.

I don't know what my problem is because I did cervical checks when TTC, so I'm not totally clueless.... but I have not really been able to feel mine even though my midwife has told me I'm 3 cm dilated and 75% effaced with the baby at -1 station.

You're not alone!

I haven't tried - ever actually. Is that really weird? It just seems odd to be poking around in there right now! I have long arms and long fingers, so I bet I *could* reach it...

I tried to check today, but can't reach anything either

I was *just* able to feel it, and it required that I really contort myself. But now suddenly I'm "sore" down there, and I can't tell if it's just swelling from being pregnant, or many irritation from the amount of "wetness", or if I'm maybe even getting a yeast infection (oh fun!) so I've decided to leave it all alone for a while

Hmm...but hubby and I were planning on DTD tonight...

Nope can't find mine the last couple of weeks. I did go ahead and have my MW check my at my appt today. . .but mostly out of curiousity and b/c I had been telling her I couldn't find it myself I know it doesn't mean much. BTW my MW said that during pg, and esp at the end, she couldn't find hers either!

I was still closed (no dilation) and she said it was indeed very far back, but I was 30% effaced. (Baby was only at -3 station, head still "floating" she said.) Sigh. So not a lot going on yet even though I am 39 weeks tomorrow. But I know this could all change quickly. . .but I am thinking this LO will wait for his due date or longer.

Nope, can't find mine (last time I checked two days ago). With my dd my midwife couldn't even reach it two days before my dd was born, it was so posterior.

I can't reach mine and it seems my MW has to really dig to reach it. I don't know if that's because it's so far back or if it's because she has short fingers.
