Dietary protein and poop questions

Hi,

As a BFer, what happens if we don't get enough protein in our diets? I'm trying really hard to get 80 grams every day, but so busy running after my 2 DDs and 3 month old Ds. What happens if I don't get enough? I noticed my hair is falling out now, could that be related? Also, what about my baby: will he lose out if I don't eat enough protein?

Nother quick question: poop! My baby's poop is yellow and no longer mucousy (he had a tummy bug for several weeks). BUT now I notice there are no more milk curds in his poop. It's just plain ole yellow. Is that ok/normal?

TIA so much!

I don't have answers for your other questions, but as for the hair falling out: totally normal. That happens to pretty much everyone postpartum and has nothing to do with dietary protein.
