Cold meds?

Anything safe to take while bfing? Baby is 5 wk old if that matters. I feel pretty icky.

Or do I need to just suck it up?

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is generally considered safe while nursing (Hale = L1), which may make you feel a bit better.

If you're looking for a decongestant, Hale says that phenylephrine HCl is "probably safe," (category = L3) but avoid pseudoephedrine as it may have a significant adverse affect on supply.
