How many times do you use your PUL cover before washing???

I've been airing mine inbetween uses and using a couple of times before grabbing a new one. Just out of curiosity I wanted to see how many times you all use them before throwing in the wash?? And do you air in between or just put the same one back on? Obviously if its soiled it goes straight into the wash, but what about just wet against the waterproof backing?

What do you all do?

I like to air them out between uses and use them until they get smelly, but when we're traveling I will usually put the same one back on unless it's really gross.

I air mine out too. I don't throw it into the wash unless it's soiled.

I used to rotate two during the day I changed to a new one after a poopy diaper (even if it stayed off the cover) after naps and a new set of rotating covers each day.

I definitely air between uses. I think I can get 4-5 uses before it starts to get smelly enough that I decide to wash it. Poopy ones always get washed 'cause it seems that every. time. ds poops some of it ends up on the cover.

I rotate between two covers during the day (one on the baby, one airing out on the changing table). At the end of the day they go in the laundry. The exception is if one gets poo on it, then it obviously goes into the laundry.

i just use them until they get a smell to them. any hint of a smell. if there's poo on one it obviously gets washed. she poops right through the prefold no matter what fold i do so they actually end up getting washed pretty often.

I air mine out too and wash them every few times they're worn. Or when they get smelly.
