So after you have had your little one, what tea are you drinking? Before my new daughter was born, I was drinking RRL/nettles/alfalfa. Trying to decide if there is something I should do different now?

Thanks!

I kind of had the same question. My MW who attended my brith (who is actually a student) sid that the RRL tea with nettles and alfalfa added was good post partum as well. I added some blessed thistle to mine to help with milk supply. And boy did that ever work!
But would love to hear if there really is something else that is better.

I bought some PP tea from Local Harvest.

Yep, my MW said that the pg tea she recommends (RRL with alfalfa and nettles) is also good as a PP tea. I have heard that fennegruk is good for milk supply. . .but you'd have to check up on that one, I'm not positive nor an expert on this.

Yes, the same is good postpartum.

After my first, I also drank Mother's Milk tea (or some other mix of "nursing tea") primarily to get my milk supply up. Loved the taste of it too. The ingredients are: "Sweet fennel seed, anise seed, coriander seed, spearmint leaf, lemongrass leaf, lemon verbena leaf, althea root, blessed thistle herb, fenugreek seed"

warning..
the fennegreek will make you smell like maple syrup! At least it did for me Apparently it is used in the production of Maple syrup, so after a day or 2 of taking it, I noticed how "sweet" I smelled..

It did work for production BTW..
