Cotton Babies Flip?

Are these being sold yet? Has anyone tried them yet? There is also another new diaper from cotton babies; ecobum...both look interesting, though I guess I have a hard time telling if they will work for us, when there are no reviews.

Wow, from the description the Econobum sounds fantastic! I hope I can resist ordering! The Flip looks pretty cool too, especially if you're not grossed out by the idea of disposable inserts and would like the flexibility of using either kind of insert.

Of course, any kind of prefold/cover system will involve poop getting on the cover. That has never bothered me, but it seems to REALLY bother some folks.

I guess I thought that the disposable inserts were optional? ....I am a little confused. I usually use prefolds with my kiddos, then switch to fitteds....have never been too into the bum genius pockets and thought that the Flip or the Ecobum would be an alternative to prefolds and covers...and a little easier too. I would probably buy prefolds and some of the ecobums and flips to try out, and hopefully regular prefolds would work in them as well...though it sounds like the inserts are a one size organic prefold; which is very appealing....I have no interest in the disposable inserts, just seams cheaper and easier to just use the regular insert.

Oh, I'm sure the disposable inserts are optional. I'm just thinking the Flip would appeal more to people who would use them.

A one-size, wrap-style, front-snap diaper cover is a great addition to what's currently on the market. So is a one-size prefold. Pairing them is a great idea. It's not that different from regular prefolds and covers, but it's more economical and simpler, no ten tons of research to figure out what goes with what. I am very much in favor!

I wonder if the prefold that comes with the Econobum can be pinned and used coverless for mamas like me who like to kick it old school during the day around the house.

I just placed an order for these. I even ordered the disposable inserts to try them out, hoping they will appease the YMCA, which requires 'sposies (so far, they haven't discovered that I'm violating that rule!).

Wish they'd come sooner...tired of washing dipes EVERY SINGLE DAY.

(For now, we've got mostly BG 2.0 and 3.0s and 4 BG all-in-ones.) (Yes, I'm BG biased. I've tried lots of other, but these are what I've loved the most.)

AHHH! After a couple weeks of agonizing over what cd's to buy, I took the plunge. A friend gave me 15 used BG 3.0 and I really like them- except the velcro is curling and not sticking on some, which bothered me. Of course, they had been used for a year already. I was going to order more BG as well as some prefolds and thirsties duowrap covers to try (I was hoping to fall in love with prefolds and reduce laundry).

Then I saw these. They sound/look great! I ordered a a girl day pack, a boy day pack, one ribbit color set, 2 packs of sposie inserts, one econobum set, and 7 reusable inserts- all for 166.00! Shipping was free and cottonbabies had a promocode (BESTDEAL) for 5% off the order. Not bad... I hope I like them!

Contact cottonbabies (by phone) about your Bg's velcro issues. They just set me tab fix kits to replace the velcro on all 16 of my dipes for no charge, not even shipping. Now I just have to fix the 7 I haven't gotten to yet.

The Flip and the Eco are not out yet, but soon. I think everywhere you have to pre-order. Even on the bG site.
