Are we there yet?!

I hate waiting!! Even after a completely uneventful pregnancy, I'm just SO ready to be done... Baby dropped again last week (he had dropped once already but sort of bounced back up), and I have occasional Braxton-Hicks, but other than that, nothing much is happening. I guess I just never thought that maybe my baby would make it to his due date (9/26)...

Hurry up baby!!

<tick tock> <tick tock>

My due date has come and gone.

<tick tock> <tick tock>

I'm REALLY ready just to be done.

Someone tell this kid to GET THE HELL OUT!

You know, I was fine and now I really just want her to come already. I know she will come when she comes, but soon would be nice. I keep having to send my dd to that germy kindergarten and I have no idea how I will keep her healthy for when the baby arrives. I want her to be able to hold her sister!

We can do it, ladies!!! I really thought my little guy would come this week. His big brother was born @ 39+1 (38+4 by conception date), and I'm 2 days past that now. Not the tiniest hint of labor, cervix is long, closed, and posterior. Trying to be patient, trying to be patient...

(Yes, I know I need to stop checking for progress. I actually haven't checked at all today, and I'm going to try not to anymore!)

Ugh, I am so with you! I am due on 9.26 too diana and I am so, so, sooooo ready to be done. But I think this LO wants to see his due date.

I actually felt pretty good up till 38 weeks. . .ever since then both the mental and the physical aspects of this waiting game have become pretty unbearable.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm not even nervous about labor anymore because I want it to start so bad! I'm sure that will change once I actually start, but for now...

This is pretty much what I said to my OB at my last appt. I said "I remember now why I'm not afraid of labor...almost anything is better than the end of pregnancy!!"

And with both my previous labors, I wasn't nervous in the beginning, really not until transition did the nerves kick in (when I start thinking about pushing).

Count me in to the sick and tired of waiting group. I mean, I know my EDD is only on Monday, and I have no reason to expect my first baby to be anything but tardy- but these pushy "set-a-date-to-yank-her-out" doctors have triggered this anxiety and sense of urgency that I never had up until now.

I feel like, even if I want to be chill about it and wait for Mother Nature to take its course, as was my intention, I now no longer have time to do so! Everyday now, since my appointment on MOnday, I've been mentally begging the baby to "beat the clock." Ugh. Friggin sucks! So irritating!

my twin girls, who are 21 months tomorrow, I think are beginning to wonder if Mommy has an "imaginary friend" in her belly. That this whole time I've been talking about/discussing the new baby sister to come who is inside the belly is a total joke and will never actually come! I mean I've been building them up to get excited about it and now whenever I mention the baby they look at me like Yeah right Mommy she's not coming you lie! lol
