I don't spray any of my fruit trees. I have a grafted apple tree that got a few apples with scabs, but other than that it was great. I have an apricot tree that's too little for fruit, and I have a peach tree. It is the first summer for the tree (got it last september) and I got about 20 really delicious peaches off of it. The problem is, the ants were eating the peaches. They went in the peach through where the stem was and were eating them. I put them in ice water which made all the ant's come out, and then I was able to lop the peaches up and just scrape a bit of hte insides off. Anyways, is there any way next year I can prevent ant's from doing this without using any sort of pesticides?
