homemade laundry soap & HE washer

I recently made some fels naptha laundry soap and really like it! The problem is we are purchasing new appliances and would like to get a HE washer to save money on wash dd's cd's. Does anyone know if this detergent will be compatible with the washer? Also, any feedback on the HE washers is appreciated.

I didn't start making my own laundry soap until I owned a front loader. It works fine. Homemade is low sudsing naturally and so is HE laundry soap so it's perfect!

I've only ever used my homemade soap in a frontloader, I make mine with sunlight bar soap for everyday washing and Ivory soap for DD laundry and dipes and have had no problem.
