I can't emphasize enough though how important uniform coarse grind is.

Thanks for all the replies! I think I will be going with a french press. I like the simplicity of it and less counter space taken up! I'll just have to grind my own coffee from now on instead of buying the fine espresso.
Can't wait to try it with some locally roasted french roast!! |

We enjoy our coffee in this hosuehold and we have been getting by with a crappy Cuisinart 4 cupper. It leaks and doesn't make enough for a crowd and now the plastic parts are breaking. What should I get to replace it?
