Ordered my "Stash" What Next?

So, after tireness research/shopping I have ordered diapers for my baby coming in Nov!!!!
32 UBIPF's
one thirsties duo size 1
one Bummi's SS size S
one snappy
-all from cottonbabies.com with free shipping at $75
Also ordered $35 worth of fleece from fabric.com (5 yards=which should be more than we need, but again free shipping!) Ordered Aplix and elastic from sewshoppe.com at just under $12.

All for $122!!!

That is all I need but I hope to get some rainforest diapers seconds and those cheap fitteds from babybunz or something like that. Also a wetbag.

Now I have to move on to other diaper issues. We have a small house, will be changing the baby in our bedroom, will the basic pail from Walmart really keep the odors contained? Because of space, it would be handy to use one of those that just hangs on the door knob, but I really don't think those would contain smells. Love to hear some opinions....

Next issue- wipe solution. I cut up some old cotton and flannel pj's for wipes and have a wipe warmer. I am debating between making a solution or using plan distilled water. I want a solution but everyone for purchase or to make has things I fear would upset the baby's skin (like tea tree oil). One of my DSs has terribly sensitive skin.

I never had a problem with odor as long as I washed every couple of days. I would think a closed pail would actually smell worse than an open pail or a doorknob liner that had some air getting to it. And, I always used distilled water. My dd, who does NOT have sensitive skin, broke out when I tried using a wipes solution with TTO. Distilled water worked fine.

I've used the hanging bags with great success before. Its what we often used when on vaccation ect no issues. Do you have more covers?

it sounds like maybe she is going to make some fleece covers? if not, then def more are needed.

You may want to consider a few more pull type covers even if making fleece ones. Compression leaks happen more often with fleece covers and a newborn thats going to stay "put" a lot will have those compression leaks more... Fleece covers are great but a few extra pull covers may be well worth it.

Thanks, I leaning towards the door knob hanger. Do these things really hold up to all the washes with the diapers?

I am planning on MIL making me like 10 fleece covers. So yeah, I am going to be relying on them pretty heavily. But I plan on frequent changes. I will hopefully also be getting a couple of AI2s from rainforest babies that I plan to also use as covers with the pfs.

I have three wetbags that I rotate through, and they have held up great. We just wash one and hang another one up.
