I'm going to be knitting a pair of longies for a friend's DD for Christmas and I'm wondering what size I should make them. She's nearly 2 so hitting some growth spurts, plus we have LONG winters so these will get about a half year's use so I don't want to make them to her right-now measurements (Christmas is already 3 months away).
I have the perfection pants pattern so I need some measurements to go by; what would you use for waist, hips, rise and inseam? I'm thinking a typical M/L size, but I can't find all the measurements for them.
