HPT Line Now Lighter Than Before

After 1.5 years of TTC #2 I am 8dp5dt (FET). I took a HPT 2 days ago and got a BFP. This morning I took another and the line is lighter instead of darker. I still have 5 days until my beta and I'm wondering if this means we are headed for a BFN on beta day. With HPTs is a positive a positive or does the darkness of the line really mean anything?

I know how confusing everything can be. I am wondering if there could be HCG left in your system. I don't know how long it stays in your system but I know some other ladies on here do.

This was not a fresh IVF it was FET so there was no HCG used in my protocol at all. Hoping it was just a fluke test.

I took probably 100 test early in my pregnancy Sometimes the tests would be lighter than a few days before. It has to do with the amount of dye in the test.

Thanks. I really hope that is what it is. I'm waiting to hear back from my nurse to see if they will let me take my Beta early.

The darkness or lightneess of the line doesn't necessarily mean anything-some tests are more sensitive than others, sometimes there's more hcg in your urine than others, and so on.
