I just recieved the Ergo carrier that I ordered, and I love it. My twin boys are 7 1/2 months old, and I haven't really been doing any babywearing up to now because I hadn't found a system that really worked for me. I have a Moby Wrap, but I got overwhelmed with it and gave up early on. I got a Hotsling more recently and found it marginally usable for a brief while, but never got into it as a regular thing; not comfortable enough for either me or my babies.
The Ergo seems like it is finally really going to work. The only problem is that this one seems to have a small defect; a missing D ring on one of the shoulder straps where the hood strap is supposed to go. (They are supposed to have two of them aren't they?)
My issue is that at this point I can't bear the idea of being without it for the couple of weeks it would take to send it back and get a replacement. It's already so late in the game to begin seriously babywearing. On the other hand, it was a substantial investment of money, and I don't want to lose resail value on it for when I put it on Craigslist.
What do you think I should do?
