Weirdness...am I leaking?

Well I was going batty so my mom and I went to a movie. As we were sitting there, I suddenly felt "wetness" and wondered if I was peeing myself...seemed weird though. Went to the bathroom and there was a large spot in my underpants - definitely not mucous but it didn't smell like pee either although I've stayed really hydrated so maybe it's just so dilute that it doesn't smell. I tried using a litmus strip that I had from when I was pregnant with my first dd five years ago. It sort of turned blue-ish green but I didn't have a large test spot so it definitely wasn't saturated.

What is up with this? Would it just be leaking fluid or would I really have peed myself??

I actually have to wear a pad everyday just for pee leakage from being pregnant. I have NO issues with incontinence while not pregnant. My previous pregnancy I worried I would continue to leak pee but immediately after birth all was normal again, so maybe it's urine?

That's immediately what I thought - whispered to my mom something about peeing myself. But it was so out of the blue and just felt like it came out of somewhere other than the urethra. I know that sounds bizarre. I suppose only time will tell but it sort of makes me feel edgy now.

I don't know, but this keeps happening to me. A few times it's actually gone through my underwear and left spots on my pants or the chair/bed I'm sitting on. I know it's not pee, some of it is milky-looking like I would expect discharge, but there's also a good bit of clear fluid.

I'm *assuming* that it's just discharge, but I suppose it's possible I have a small leak. If so, I've had it for over a week now, and it hasn't re-sealed or "popped" completely, which seems unlikely. You'd think by now one of those would have happened! :

I just wear a pad and continue to wait. Sigh.

Dear God I hope that is the way it is with me about going back to normal! I didn't have incontinence with my first child 7 years ago and I do with this one but other than that, I don't any other time. Please let it go back to being able to control it...

who knows I guess time will tell. My midwife told me that sometimes just the baby moving around can make an uncontrollable "spurt"

yes I hope all's back to normal for you, too! I swear as soon as I stood up to pee for the first time after my twins were born it was like TOTAL URETHRAL CONTROL

Sometimes I wonder *how* my underwear could get so wet, so I can totally relate. I wear a liner 99% of the time because of this.

I was telling my MW that I worried my labor would start with my water breaking (because that happened with my first, and it turned into a crappy induction), and she reminded me that less than 10% of labors start with broken waters. (Not sure if that's a documented stat or what.) I imagine this stat doesn't hold true when you have cervical checks and membrane sweeps, though.

Chances are most of us won't have our water break before labor starts, but with all the leaking we do, it can be confusing!

Can't wait to be done being so leaky!!
