My DD is now 2 months and I've putting her in a back carry in my Freehand with a monkeytoes hood.....I'm careful to cover the side gap. Anyone see a problem with carrying her liker that?

I think there's a typo (caver the side gap?) or else I'm just out of date on my babywearing lingo . . .

But, I see no problem wearing a 2 month old in a freehand back carry, if you are keeping the side gap safely closed or covered in some way, which I believe is what you were trying to say! I would do that by wrapping the straps around the sides.

thanks - I know what I meant but not sure what I was typing! I do cover the side gap and she rests her head on my back - the hood keeps her head from rolling back if she looses head control. I just never carried DS that way until he was much older so am feeling a bit worried but I can get WAY more done like this!
