What are your must sees? What new shows are you going to try?

I watched Community on NBC (after The Office). I loved it! That's probably the only new show I'll watch this season.

liking Vampire Diaries - trying not to add a bunch of shows though, i watch enough already :-)

My shows for the fall are: Survivor Samoa, Parks and Rec, The Office, Fringe, How I Met Your Mother, 90210. I'm also giving The Good Wife (I've loved Chris Noth since Law & Order) and Melrose Place a try.

I tried Community and Vampire Diaries. They didn't impress me.

I'm still waiting for 2010 when LOST comes back!

As for totally new shows, I'm looking forward to Mercy on NBC and Trauma (I think that's the name). I might see Community unless it's on Wednesday night because that's my night that no more shows will fit on my dvr schedule.

Side note: I'm interested in Trauma because they shot some of the freeway-explosion-helicopter-accident scenes here. It was very scary to drive right by it on my way home and see the most horrific crash ever! (big rig exploding!) Then that night on the news I saw it was for this show. So, then after that, for about a week, it was fun to drive by it every day. (well... it was fun for me because I was driving the opposite way- it wasn't fun for those that needed to go that way, only to have a huge chunk of the freeway- right in San Francisco- closed down)

flashfoward. It's biling itself as the 'next Lost" which would be great, since this is the last season of lost and I want to watch a show that will pander UP to the audience.

I love LOST ... and I'm hoping to like this one, too.

what is V?

I forgot about Flash Forward. We decided to take Parks and Rec off to watch Flash Forward. Too many things on Thursdays I tell you! My DVR is going to keel over.

V was a two-day mini series in 1983 about aliens (Visitors) come to Earth, who try to take over, and the human resistance fighters.

The story was left kind of up in the air and so V: the Final Battle aired later. And then it was turned into a tv show that I don't think I watched.

I remember I loved it. My mom watched with me and pointed out the references to Nazis and the story To Serve Man. I'm sure it would be utterly hokey now, but it was 'ground breaking' TV at the time.

thanks...

I watched Community, too, and thought it was funny. It definitely has potential. I'm excited for that one show that premieres tonight about the three families-- one is a gay couple, the other an older guy and a younger girl and the third a suburbia couple. Also, desperate housewives comes on soon, woo!
