nak....
i am so proud! I only nursed my first for 3 days then eped for 3 weeks. 2 months now we have been ebfing. i love it! but we have steadily used a shield. Panick would ensue if I could not find it.
Well yesterday my mom took the Abrielle overnight and since I tackled weaning her off the sippy and putting her in her own room and implementing a schedule, I decided why not TRY without the shield! YAY! We nursed through the night and all today without it!
I am so proud of myself, Anna, and my BOOBIES!
Cutest side note:
I woke in the middle of the night to my little one happily suckling my side. She never cried or fidgeted, just sucked on my side for about 5 minutes. i woke up and was cracking up. I just rolled over to her and let her nurse and realized how in love with her I am!
A nice break from the crazy two year old and i am rested, relaxed and totally in love with my kids again. Sometimes you just need to reestablish the baby moon!
Thanks everyone for letting me vent. Sometimes a mama just needs a break!

With DD#1 I ended up using a nipple shield for 2 months
I hated that thing. It was such a relief to finally be rid of it.
