And man alive am I tired. I wore DS1 2 years ago off and on at the fair and it was so much easier than the stroller. Well yesterday I wore DS2 (28 #) in my Ergo the whole 7 hours we were there and I am soooo unbelievabley sore. On a positive- it was awesome not having to deal with a stroller- and he was happy as a little clam- but still.... How long can a mama (who is very physically active btw) reasonably carry a not so little- little one?

Before ds 7 hours walking around at a fair would have left me exhausted anyway - I just don't normally spend that much time walking around. I can wear ds (26.5lbs) for as long as 4 hours without a problem. I haven't yet tried longer so I don't know how much longer but I could see 7 hours leaving me pretty tired & sore.
