Please also forward the action alert below to any Wisconsin-based lists you might be on—opponents of the Right to Breastfeed Act are gaining momentum and legislators need to hear from us today before tomorrow's vote on the bill!

Contact your Representative in the State Assembly and tell them to vote YES on Assembly Bill 57, the Right to Breastfeed Act.

To find out who Representative in the State Assembly is, go to:

http://www.legis.wisconsin.gov/w3asp/waml/waml.aspx

Members of the Wisconsin State Assembly (NOT the State Senate) will be voting on the Right to Breastfeed Act TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 22, on what will be one of the STRONGEST breastfeeding bills in the entire country!

They need to be SWAMPED by phone calls and emails from everyone who loves mothers and babies and who supports our right to feed our babies whenever and wherever we happen to be!

To read Rep. Pasch’s excellent amendment to the bill, click here:

If you can, please join us at the State Capitol in Madison to watch the debate and the vote! A strong presence of support is always helpful, and babies and children are welcome.

The session begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 22nd, and the Right to Breastfeed Act is the first bill on the calendar, which means it will be up for a debate and vote after procedural business (including the reading and passage of resolutions).

For information about the State Capitol, go here:

Please be sure to call or email your Representative in the Wisconsin State Assembly TODAY!

I don't live in Wisconsin, but there has to be a way for me to help. Is there?

Oh man, I wish I would've spotted this post yesterday! It's already past 10.

Edited to add: I still emailed Rep Barca to see how he voted.

He won't answer via email. He only responds to written correspondence.

I just moved from Wisconsin... but I am curious how this turned out? How did the vote go?
