MW in Tampa, FL?

We moved over the summer to this side of the state and I just got some news which has me looking for a mw. I would love to have a homebirth this time as there is no way I am going through pg again. My boys were born with the same mw in attendance, but she only does hospital births and is in Cocoa Beach, wrong side of the state! I know there is a birth center in Dunedin, but this is #4 for me and I am honestly scared I wouldn't get there in time so just staying at home sounds better to me. If anyone knows a name or where to find a listing it would be a great starting place, thanks!

I don't live in Fl anymore but I have several friend who do and there is a birth center in Lakeland, Fl that does homebirths too with their MWs. It's called Labor of Love. A good friend of our just did a homebirth with them and has done 2 others previously too. They also have a birth center in Lutz which is actually Tampa. I am sure this is the same birth center you are talking of in Dunedin...they have three locations. If I were you, I would call teh Lutz one first because it would be closest to you. Lakeland, depending what side of Tampa you live on, will be about 45 mins. (I lived in Tampa, Lutz, and Lakeland while I lived there over several years) You should look into them though! They got me thinking from their website on doing a homebirth and I have had one homebirth and now my planned UC!!!

I'm in your area, PM me. All 4 kiddos have been born at home w/midwives (well, actually the last one was an accidental UC) and I know a lot of poeple in the birth industry here.
