Expecting in March as of now I do not know the gender not that that matters..

I have eaither here from before recently ordered on on it way...
1 kissaluv size 0 unbleached
4 GMD newborn prefolds
8 newborn prefolds from soft cloth bunz
1 mutaquin newborn fitted
1 bummis super bite wrap
1 thirsties Duo wrap
1 thirsties XS
1 bummi sww newborn froggie print
2 motherease one size fitted one organic one bamboo
2 small airflow covers
1 Rumparooz one size pocket gumball velcro closure
2 tiny tush one size diapers

planning on adding
12 motherease one size fitted (still deciding on fabric)
1 dozen small sized prefolds
24 kissaluv size 0 through a CD rental program
3-5 additional pocket diapers
2 XS airflow covers
2 small airflow covers
4 small covers (still deciding which)

Is that total over kill? I realize I'm going a bit crazy here but heck we've been trying 6 years to have another child! I'm owed

In the end I'll have basically the kissaluvs and prefolds for the newborn stage *and will get back a big chunk of what I spend* and potentially 6 newborn sized diaper covers

Then looking at for other sizes and all one size except covers/prefolds
12-16 one size fitted
12 prefolds (will get sizes as needed)
4-6 pockets
8 covers

It doesn't seem to bad when I break it down does it?

I get a little dizzy reading about all different brands and styles even though I know they have all their pros and cons. I liked the organic cotton Mother-ease diapers best because I didn't have to worry about polyester stink.

I know what you mean. Overall I love simplicity some one the list are diapers I had from before that are still perfectly fine so I'll work them into the mix somehow. But really the diapers I'll be using will be the Kissaluvs/prefolds for the NB time and after that MEOS and prefolds I'll have jsut a few pockets for the occasional time I want them. My variety is in the cover.

I intially ordered an OC to try because I much prefer non poly fabrics but then I was told such good things about the bamboo so I have one of those comming as well... I'll see. Love the OC though.
