I love NCIS, but I always feel old when I watch it ... it's exactly the kind of show my grandmother was into, so it gets mentally filed in "little old lady shows" for me.

it was a good episode i guess, but im still leery of an ncis spin off. i love the original so much, i dont think a spin off will be near as good

as for the orignal, i loved the premier last night

Let me preface this by saying I am in no way a gun advocate, but...how cool was Gibbs with that sniper shot???

I think I will like the LA spin-off, although I will always think of it as NCIS: LL Cool J.

I didn't start watching it until last season just for this reason. My mom is a huge fan and I kept having flashbacks to her making me watch Murder She Wrote with her every Sunday.

I love NCIS and I'm so glad I'm not alone! I think ultimately I like the characters and their relationships. I had to DVR the episode last night but I'm so excited to get to watch it!

Loved the episode last night! I was starting to have Gibb's withdrawals and the reruns just weren't cutting it.

I liked the NCIS: LA but I didn't really see it as NCIS but just more like another cop show. It's was pretty good though, I'll watch it again.

Same here. It will be one of my shows to watch if nothing else is on and I have the time to vegetate. Not one of the must watch ones. Not yet anyway.

And then when he was standing in the hall, backlit in the sniper suit! so cool!

Concerning LA, I wasn't going to watch it I sort of got intereseted. I don't see it being a must-see for me but will probably watch it on occasion.

yes! And I loved Abby's little rant, so totally Abby. And almost every little private scene with Ziva and everyone she had a little intimate convo with. Even her and Tony in the bathroom, it will be nice to get the Tony/Ziva banter back. I missed them

And is it just me or when Gibbs gets all deep does he look even hotter!

Got my Gibbs fix tonight!

It was an ok episode, not as good as I'm used to but at least I got to look at my sexy men.

Poor Ziva though, I know she's itching to get out there and I miss not seeing more of her.
