Our family had H1N1 and a bunch of secondary infections that wiped us out for most of November.

I'm finally ready to get us back into a routine and we're hosting a small Thanksgiving Thursday.

So I need to:

1. bathe dog
2. clean sofas and chairs in living room
3. pick up the upstairs playroom
4. clean guest bathroom
5. mop kitchen floor
6. take basement toys back down to the basement
7. make dentist appointment for me DONE
8. dishes
9. laundry
10. vacuum living room and hall

Where would I be without 8 &9 in my life??

---dishes/kitchen counters
---DONE diaper laundry / one load of clothes
---fold and put away the laundry already in my room
---write paper for Nutrition class
---clean litter boxes
---DONE sort canned goods for donation
---DONE clean baby walker
---organizing hallway computer nook

I also have to wrap the neighbor's baby gift (a little NEW one! SOOOOO cute born last Saturday), and decorate the Christmas tree. It's currently assembled and even plugged in but there are no deco's on it!

Have to get started on front door Christmas wreath, too.

Yesterday I worked and cleaned out one of DD's toy hot spots in the living room - everything is now in a tote to be moved back to the bedroom and put away in her toy boxes.

Vacuumed a little in the living room this morning - probably not going to get much more done as I have errands to do today and have to work from 11am to 2am tomorrow so will rest extra today.

but my goals for today are:

pick up other toy hot spot in living room and move all items to bedroom
vacuum floor in the rest of the living room

I feel like I've actually been productive today!! Which is good, because I barely got anything done yesterday.

---DONE dishes/kitchen counters
---DONE diaper laundry / IN PROGRESS one load of clothes
---DONE fold and put away the laundry already in my room
---write paper for Nutrition class
---clean litter boxes
---organizing hallway computer nook
---DONE clean oven and stove-top
---DONE clean up floor in my room

Now I really need to get cracking on my homework. I am woefully behind. I've been battling a fibro flare-up and I've been utterly wiped out. Ugggh.

Hi OkiMom! How was your trip?
So happy to have found this thread! I need some extra motivation today to get some major decluttering and organizing done. We're having friends over Christmas Eve and it's giving me the incentive to get some things done that I've been majorly slacking on lately.

I'll start with the dining room/school room... it's so unorganized. I don't know why I let things pile up like I do.

1) pick up toys
2) clean off table
3) sort through dress up bin
4) organize long book shelf
5) organize tall book shelf
6) organize small book shelf
7) organize hutch
8) sort through books
9) sort through papers
10) dust
11) vacuum

I'm going to join in too. Thanks for the inspiration everyone!
We found out on Weds that the new windows are being installed starting tomorrow - yikes!
Every room needs tidying, surfaces cleared, and furniture moved away from windows. We don't know what order they will work through the house.
1 - Major job is emptying my sewing room, and moving it to the basement (its becoming a bedroom again) but it was seriously cluttered and messy. Almost finished! Done
2 - Have to make sure all dishes are put away, so they can access the window over the kitchen sink. (Will do again tomorrow morning, and every morning till they are done in the kitchen!)
3 - Need to find sheets to cover bookcases/pantry cupboards that can't be moved away from windows.
4 - Need to declutter our bedroom - loads of laundry to put away, and the bureaus that are under the windows are totally covered in junk - yikes!

On top of that is the usual dishes, laundry, etc. Must get delicates laundry finished today, because I can't hang it all over the house this week like I usually do! Done I'm already feeling wiped out, and it's not even 5pm, and still so much to do today! Yikes!

That took forever! I didn't realize how bad it really was. I'm going to eat some dinner and then I'll be working on the rest of my list. I'm determined to get this done tonight.
